hey, how's it going?
welcome to my little corner of the internet. this is my weblog and i'll write stuff here from time to time. i'd say i'm not much of an interesting person, nor do i have particularly interesting things to say, but that's beside the point i guess.
i vehemently miss the late 90's and early 2000's of the internet. personal spaces were common and finding new and interesting places to visit was done via webrings and blogrolls. i absolutely loathe the destruction today's social media and corporations have brought upon us. perhaps i'm looking through rose-tinted glasses. regardless, i think the indieweb is making a comeback and this is my contribution i suppose!
so, what's this place about? what kinda stuff are you gonna put on here?
you might have glanced upon the variety of pages i have on the site! below is a list and a little bit about what they're for.
fragments - a microblog! basically my own personal tweeter where i'll post very smart things. or well, more likely things i overhear in public or the weird thoughts that spring from my inner monologue.
blogroll - what the hell is a blogroll? i don't think anyone remembers. it's a list of links to other websites i like/recommend/follow. pretty cool, right?
guestbook - these were the shit back in the day. posting an entry on someone's guestbook; letting someone know how rad their site was! such simple times.
wishlist - pretty self-explanatory i reckon. buy me stuff, or don't. i'm not your father.
music - i've been writing music and playing instruments for around two decades now. i'm unfathomably terrible at it. however, i do like sharing it. feel free to write to me with your constructive criticism or insults. either is fine!
reading corner - i've sucked at reading consistently since i left high school forever ago. i'm getting back into it. so i made a log. i'll share what i've read and reviews and stuff.
gaming log - same deal as the reading corner! i have no issues consistently playing video games though. reviews, log of what i'm currently playing/finished playing, screenshots, etc.
i also have some other pages that i'll add eventually once they have more content. i'm leaving that "untitled project" thing there though, i'm too lazy to get rid of it.
ADDENDUM: i know i have pages listed above that aren't shown right now, sometimes i take them down because i don't like how they look and i'm a very finnicky person. they'll be back soon!!!

good question! this is where i'll write about my life. it's very interesting. i do lots of stuff. mostly sleep...
for the time being, the weblog will be home to:
-relatable anecdotes about being socially awkward
-photographs i take with my sweet new cellular device
-music recs/mixtapes
-in-depth logs of days that i manage to be productive or do something interesting
-the occasional rant
..and whatever else i manage to think up.
well, that's it for now. if you've read all of this, you're crazy. but thanks, i appreciate someone reading this stuff. so if you did, i think you're pretty neat.
